Alan has served congregations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee and has conducted several revivals and gospel meetings. He has travelled numerous times to Guyana, South America, on mission trips. He graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelors degree in Bible (1976).
