Where do you live? (John 8:31-32)

     If we fail to live in God's word, we forget who we are, who our family is, who our Father is.  We can't influence the world around us for good.

Definition: What about the word? (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

     1. It is powerful (Heb. 4:12; 1 Cor. 1:18)

     2. It gives us everything we need to know (2 Pet. 1:2-4)

     3. Desire for it causes growth (1 Pet. 2:1-2)

     4. We must be hearers and doers of the word (Jas. 1:21-25)

     5. We must teach the word to others (Mat. 28:18-20)

We must abide and live in the word (Acts 17:10-11; Mat. 4:4; Psa. 1:1-3)

John 8:31-32:

     1. Abide in My word

     2. Disciples indeed

     3. Know the truth

     4. Freedom
